## Why <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-why" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-why"></a>

To offer the possibility to make calls for tender. In other words, askers drive the requests on listings and offerors manage them.&#x20;

## Which context <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-whichcontext" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-whichcontext"></a>

Request For Proposals is the notion that the customers are the ones posting their requirements. Providers are now the users browsing the platform and selecting the posted requests they would like to apply to. Commonly known as demand-driven platforms, non-commoditized RFP bookings are widely used in B2B industries or to cater to services complex by nature and which require extensive discussion before being able to price the said services (e.g. renovation work or company auditing).

## Special rules <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-specialrules" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-specialrules"></a>

### Bid status <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-bidstatus" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-bidstatus"></a>

**Expired**: RFP is ended, all related pending Bids are marked as expired. It is checked on an hourly basis via a cron.

**Closed**: RFP is closed, all related pending Bids are marked as closed.

**Canceled**: only offerors can cancel their own pending bids.

**Declined**: only askers can decline pending bids addressed to their own RFPs

**Accepted:** The asker accept the offeror bid

### Free listing <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-freelisting" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-freelisting"></a>

The RFP bundle does not allow Free requests for proposal

### Decision delay <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-decisiondelay" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-decisiondelay"></a>

The decision delay in the RFP mode concern the delay from the moment the RFP closing date is reached.&#x20;

You can manage it with this configuration

* **SBO > Other > Feature > Request for Proposal > Decision Delay**
* The pending bids will expire when the rfp\_decision\_delay is reached after the closing date IF no bid has been accepted by the asker.&#x20;
* If the asker accepts a bid before the rfp\_decision\_delay is reached, then the pending bids will become “declined” and the rfp\_decision\_delay will not have any impact.

### RFP matching <a href="#id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-rfpmatching" id="id-1.14.x-requestforproposalbundle-rfp-businessrules-rfpmatching"></a>

The RFP matching is a feature that will allow the Asker to notify per mail the offerers who could be interessed by the RFP after his publication.

The matching rules take into account:

* The user categories selected during the RFP creation
* The RFP address and the offerer adresses
